As CEO, CHRO, OD Consultant, and Leadership Coach, founders Stephanie Usry and Debbie Ellisen struggled to find tools to help themselves, their organizations and their clients do better work together. Clutch was born out of a shared frustration with the lack of accessible, insightful tools and services that lead to lasting change.
The Clutch Story
As high tech executives, they experienced hundreds of leadership programs. As founders and entrepreneurs, they developed and evangelized tools to support such efforts. And as executive coaches, they guided thousands of CEOs and their teams through organizational effectiveness journeys. They were successful in improving the performance of their own teams and their clients, but they knew it could be easier and faster.
Available tools are generic and lack a framework by which to take action, resulting in a slow journey toward change. Stephanie and Debbie built Clutch to enable leaders and teams to quickly understand the key skills to thrive in today’s fast paced environment, their specific strengths and opportunities for growth, and the guidance needed for lasting change. Applying modern technology further allows Clutch to be more accessible than relying on legacy processes.
